Dinnertime not so fun time

So Ben works at night now, from 4pm until 9 or later. So it's up to me to make dinner, feed people, bathe people, put people to bed, nurse baby, change diapers, and make everyone happy, all by myself...not easy let me tell you! During dinner Spencer is much happier being up on the table with everyone else, so here we are at dinner, and tonight was a happy night because I made quesadillas served with peaches...Spencer makes bubbles when his nose is tickled, so when he's hungry. :)

Hey Corinne, it sounds like you and I are in the same boat. George is working swing right now. He works from 4pm-2:30am M-Th. It makes dinnertime not so fun, I agree. Tonight it actually went quite well, but that is not every night. Hope you have one of those great nights soon.

I hate when I have to do dinner and baths by myself! I'm sorry you have to do it all the time. You must be super mom!

ugh I feel your pain!! caesar is offten at work during that time and it feels like you'll never reach that end goal of actually getting the kids in bed and asleep.. hang in there!

I can relate completely, or at least I could when Eric was working and going to school. Currently he is doing neither at least for a few months, but your are so right, dinner and getting kids ready for bed is tough.

I feel for you corinne about it not being easy to put them all to bed. While Steve was in his masters it was at least 3-4 nights a week, now it's only one or two. I wish you luck, and I feel your pain !!!!

We had the same car seat for Tyler and Ethan. How funny! I don't blame Spencer for wanting to be where all the action is. That does have to be really hard to do the evening rituals of dinner and bedtime all by yourself! I feel for you.
